Anthony Clurman

Anthony Clurman oversees business transformation and shared services for Sun Life U.S., ensuring coordination across the company. He currently leads the integration of DentaQuest, acquired by Sun Life in 2022.

Prior to the acquisition of DentaQuest, he was vice president, Disability & Absence Solutions for Sun Life U.S. National Accounts business. In this role Anthony was responsible for the development of enhanced Group claims technology, as well as expansion of new absence management solutions, including overall program management for technology systems, pricing and product development, operational readiness and change management, and marketing strategies.

Anthony has led several integration programs, including Maxwell Health, acquired in 2018, and Assurant Employee Benefits, acquired in 2015. Anthony has held many leadership positions within Sun Life, including Business Excellence, Strategic Planning and Execution, and Group Program Management. 

Anthony began his career serving in the U.S. Navy as an air traffic controller. He often reflects on the similarities of coordinating military aircraft mission success and safe flight operations to managing the large complex initiatives of an  international insurance company.
