Voluntary Disability products
SLPC 24184 2/17 (exp. 2/19)
With Voluntary Disability coverage, businesses can offer insurance benefits to their employees – at no cost to the company and with little additional administration. Employees benefit from group insurance rates, which are often more favorable than individual rates, making it affordable to protect what they love about their lives. Further, Sun Life offers robust enrollment options to help educate employees on their purchase.
How does it work?
Employers can choose to offer a Short-Term Disability (STD) or a Long-Term Disability (LTD) plan, or a combination of both. Employees can select a plan that meets their needs and budget, with the freedom to customize important options such as how much protection they want.
What's covered?
These products are designed to replace a portion of your income while you're unable to work due to a covered disability.
