Our presence in India and Philippines

Asia Service Centres’ journey started in 2006 and has since achieved scale, growth and operational maturity, while institutionalizing Sun Life's global standards by integrating closely with their corporate functions, allowing businesses to collaborate seamlessly. We are now a strong organization with close to 3000 employees (52% of Enterprise Services worldwide & ~6% of Sun Life's global workforce) operating across multiple shifts, providing 24 x 5 support to Sun Life globally. In fact, in some services and processes, such as Data Centre and Operations Centre, we have started to operate 24 x 7, and to provide real-time coverage to our business partners across five countries and Corporate. 

Asia Service Centres today has more than 1100 Engineers, 200+ AWS professionals and a group of Certified Actuaries who deliver on various complex business solutions. The current workforce comprises of 75% Gen Y and we are proud to be a young, bustling organization. 

Digital Transformation at Asia Service Centres

The Asia Service Centres’ core digital competencies are mobile, data analytics, visualization, and RPA. In the past three years, we have launched over 20 digital assets, including the Sun Life Mobile Application.

Today, we have evolved from shared services into Information technology, business processing, Investment research, and Enterprise Infrastructure to Sun Life businesses across the globe for close. Digital Transformation for us is not just about technology advancement and application but also about it enables business strategy. It's about building new business models, enhancing operational and value chain efficiency, and creating best in class experiences, to building a digital culture and mindset – all enabled by the latest technologies, data-driven insights, skillsets, talent, and change frameworks. 

50% of Android development on Mobile for Canada market is being done at our Service centers in Gurugram and Manila. In keeping with our line of providing future-forward experience to our people, we are driving distinct Digital First initiatives to create seamless, paperless, and interactive employee engagement across platforms.
