Sun Life Singapore Donates S$98,000 to TOUCH Community Services to Support Diabetes Advocacy

SINGAPORE, NOVEMBER 12, 2021 – Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada Singapore Branch (“Sun Life Singapore”) today announced a donation of S$98,000 to TOUCH Community Services as part of its ongoing commitment in diabetes prevention. The donation will go towards supporting the not-for-profit charitable organisation’s healthy lifestyle programmes for vulnerable families, which aim to raise awareness and educate beneficiaries about diabetes prevention, and to help them manage the disease.

TOUCH Community Services is organising a series of activities that will benefit around 200 vulnerable families in Singapore. These activities, which include a learning journey and cooking challenge, will promote healthy eating and active lifestyle habits among the families. The programmes, which have already started on November 8, will continue to run in 2022.
