On 1/13/22, the United States Supreme Court (“the Court” or “SCOTUS”) released two highly-anticipated decisions on emergency applications for stays related to federal executive agency action concerning COVID-19 vaccines. The Court itself is openly split on these issues and, interestingly, ended up splitting the results of the two cases.
Sun Life has prepared this whitepaper to address a variety of compliance issues related to vaccine mandates. The summary includes, among other things, an analysis of recent federal government vaccine mandate/testing orders, state laws that ban or limit vaccine mandates, and states that have adopted their own vaccine mandates.
