Helping you see clearly
Our vision insurance plans are designed to help keep your eyes healthy so you can stay productive at work and in life. Coverage can include savings on eye exams, eyewear, and discounts on laser vision correction.
Choosing a Vision insurance plan that includes a comprehensive eye exam is important because VSP doctors can detect signs for other health conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure before symptoms arise. Evidence is continually being shown to support the belief that an eye exam can help provide early detection of major health issues.1
How does it work?
When you sign up for vision insurance through work, you can take advantage of group rates that are often more affordable than the rates you would face if you were to purchase insurance on your own. Coverage may also be available for your spouse and dependents, so you can keep them seeing clearly, too.
With our vision plans, you have access to the largest network of private-practice eyecare doctors in the U.S. through VSP®2. We even have a smart phone application to help you find a VSP Preferred ProviderSM. Just select an eye doctor and make your appointment, it is that easy. ID cards and claim forms are not necessary.
Depending on the vision insurance policy your employer is offering, your plan can cover expenses from eye exams to materials. All plans include discounts for glasses, sunglasses, additional lens options (progressive, tint transition lenses) and laser vision correction at contracted laser vision facilities.
Our vision plans help you maintain good eye health, ensure you have a favorable customer experience and cover a wide selection of eyewear to meet your needs.
