Frequently asked questions

PPO stands for Participating Provider Organization. With a dental PPO plan, dental providers agree to participate in a dental network by offering discounted fees on most dental procedures. When you visit a provider in the network, you could see lower out-of-pocket costs because providers in the network agree to these pre-negotiated discounted fees on eligible claims.

Simply visit www.sunlife.com/sunlifedentalnetwork. Follow the prompts to find a dentist in your area who participates in the PPO network. The PPO network for your plan is the Sun Life Dental Network® with 140,000+ unique dentists1.

You don’t need approval. We do recommend a pre-determination for any treatment over $500. This way you will know what part the plan should cover, and how much you may need to pay.

You can access your dental ID card by signing in to your Sun Life Dental account.

It's easy to get started! You will only need your social security number and date of birth to get registered. Click here to get started.
