DenteMax and Mutual of Omaha

Gain access to new patients with DenteMax & Mutual of Omaha

Dental Health Alliance®, L.L.C. (DHA) is excited to announce that we have recently entered into an arrangement with DenteMax, LLC that may increase your potential patient base. Providers in the DHA network will have access to Mutual of Omaha dental members that have the Mutually Preferred℠ Network on an in-network basis. This arrangement will go into effect on January 1, 2019.

You do not have to do anything to take advantage of this opportunity. We hope that you will be excited about this new opportunity, but if you choose to opt-out of seeing patients through DenteMax, please email us at ppoinforequests@sunlife.com by December 15, 2018. Keep in mind that by choosing to opt-out, you will not have access to any future arrangements with DenteMax through your participation in DHA.

Which network fees will apply?

If you have a direct contract with DenteMax, your DenteMax fee schedule applies to Mutual of Omaha dental members. If you do not have a direct contract with DenteMax, then your DHA fee schedule applies to Mutual of Omaha dental members.

When a member comes to your office for care:

Check patient eligibility/benefits and verify that the patient's plan utilizes the Mutually Preferred℠ network on MutualofOmaha.com/dental-provider
NOTE: Look for "Mutually Preferred℠" for network confirmation on all ID cards. (sample below)

Sign up for the Provider Web Portal for real-time status updates!

Register for the provider web portal, where you can submit claims, receive claim payment estimates, verify member eligibility and sign up for direct deposit. Go to MutualofOmaha.com/dental-provider to register and find out more.

Submit claims using the following tools

Submit your usual charges when billing services for these members; the appropriate reimbursement schedule will be applied at the time of payment. If you have any questions regarding claims or payment, please refer to the patient ID card or contact Mutual of Omaha at:
