Ravi Sankar

Asia Head of Technology, Sun Life Global Solutions

Ravi Sankar is responsible for the Asia focused technology solutions and services being delivered by Sun Life Global Solutions. This includes existing core, digital deliveries, and other technology services for our Asian markets. He also works closely with the Digital Enterprise Asia organisation to drive delivery, engineering, and staffing strategies to enable our platforms.

Ravi is a key member of the Global Solutions leadership team and the Asia IT Management Team. Prior to Sun Life, Ravi was with Wipro, where he was a Global Delivery Head for BFSI Strategic Accounts. He is a technology professional with demonstrated experience in leading global teams for strategy, delivery, people management, sales, presales, technology, legacy modernization, digital transformation, contract management and innovation. established new emerging technology capabilities. Before Wipro, he worked with Tata Consultancy Services for more than 12 years.

In his career, Ravi has helped create strong customer relationships, been instrumental in acquiring large accounts, built a strong revenue pipeline, and led and delivered large transformation initiatives for Fortune 100 customers. He also has expertise in Digital, DevOps, Testing, Data and Analytics domains. He is recognised for his people centric approach.

Ravi is an MCA postgraduate from NIT, Jamshedpur. Away from work, Ravi likes reading, trying new recipes and following sports.
