Our community involvement

At Sun Life, we are committed to brightening the communities in which we live and work—not just through our products and services, but through our corporate giving.

We provide funding that supports effective programs in a variety of areas. Since such a major portion of our business focuses on life, health and disability insurance, our corporate giving is primarily focused on health-related initiatives. We also support programs that make the arts more accessible, that leverage both childhood and adult education to improve lives, and that provide direct services to those in need. Employee giving

Many of our employees are extremely generous with both their time and money. We support their efforts in two ways:

our matching gifts program, which doubles employee donations to their charities of choice
a Volunteer Network which gives employees the option of participating in several local community outreach events throughout the year.
