We recruit on college campuses across the country for our Actuarial Student Program, Employee Benefits Group Sales Representative Program and Rotational Leadership Development Program. We also invite students to apply for our internship opportunities throughout the year. Our structured training programs include:

Actuarial Student Program

More than just great practical training, the Actuarial Student Program allows you to rotate through different business units to explore which areas interest you most. To promote the professional development of actuarial staff, Sun Life provides an environment conducive to passing the actuarial exams including:

  • Financial incentives for passing exams
  • Reimbursement of exam fees
  • Time allotment for study

Sales Representative Program

A career in sales with Sun Life Financial offers independence, professional growth and high income potential. Our structured training program for the Employee Benefits Group division prepares you for a business-to-business selling role in one of our 34 field sales offices. You’ll build relationships with industry professionals in your assigned territory to sell our Group Life, Disability, Dental and Medical Stop-Loss benefits portfolio.

Rotational Leadership Development Program

This three-year program targets high potential college graduates and offers an accelerated business curriculum designed to help you build leadership skills. Featuring three distinct business rotations, one of which may be international, you’ll reach your personal career goals through a structured program which includes opportunities to work with Sun Life leaders on real business issues and challenges.
