Long-Term Disability insurance
SLCP 24031 12/13 (exp. 12/15)
Sun Life can tailor a Long-Term Disability plan that allows you to offer coverage at a competitive rate, so your employees can protect what they love about their lives. We also help them grasp the true value of disability coverage through our plain language, education and helpful services.
How does it work?
Our menu of choices include traditional, contributory, and core-buy plans, as well as voluntary plan designs – all designed to provide salary replacement for employees who are Totally Disabled. Premiums can be paid by you, your employees or cost-shared. We also offer Customized Disability1 insurance, which combines the features of Sun Life’s Short- and Long-Term Disability plans to provide partial income replacement for employees under a single policy.
Our Long-Term Disability plan covers disabilities resulting from injuries or illnesses that prevent employees from performing the essential duties of their jobs.
