The Sun Life Rotational Leadership Development Program (RLDP) provides the opportunity to gain diversified experience in an accelerated business-focused and leadership development program. Through three rotations, these progressive roles provide you with critical thinking skills, business knowledge of the insurance and financial services industries, and a broad knowledge of Sun Life's products, customers and business strategy. The rotations also provide an introduction to Sun Life's Global Leadership Competencies, including self-management, influencing, problem-solving, adaptability and change management.

Analytics & Insights

Program Description:

Develops future leaders that can confidently navigate the way for Sun Life in this Analytics powered Digital age.

Rotations:

Rotate through 3 different roles provide skill development in Predictive Modeling, Prototype Development & Adoption.

Business Lines:

As a Shared Service function, the data analytics work will support a wide variety of business areas including (but not limited to): Analytics & Insights, Claims, Distribution, Client Services, Operations, etc.

Career Path:

Leads to a range of challenging roles focused on data analytics.

Eligibility:

Recent college grads, graduating in the Fall or Spring before joining the program in the summer.

Group Insurance & Risk Management

Program Description:

Develop future leaders in Group Benefits with well-rounded background and experience pertaining to SLF Group products, business operations and systems, underwriting risk selection and pricing, claims management and the end-to-end client experience.

Rotations:

Rotations through New Business Pricing, Underwriting & Claims

Business Lines

All rotation support our Group business including our group and voluntary insurance products.

Eligibility

Asset Management

Program Description:

Develops future asset managers and investments leaders for the Sun Life Investment Management Group of Companies.

Rotations:

Rotate through three different roles over three years with a focus on gaining exposure to all of our asset classes.

Business Lines:

Private fixed income, public fixed income, real estate, mortgages, derivatives, bonds, trading research, third party sales and service.

Career Path:

Leads to a range of exciting opportunities in asset management, portfolio management.

Eligibility:

If you are in a Business, Finance, Economics or related program that will be completed by the spring of the following year, you are eligible to apply for this program.
