Competitive compensation
We review and participate in salary surveys, marketing trends and monitor your contributions to ensure you receive competitive compensation commensurate with your role and responsibilities as per the Indian IT & business processing industry.
Pay for performance
Every employee has the opportunity to share in the success of Sun Life. Performance bonuses are awarded based on an individual’s performance and the performance of the India Service Centre. Merit increases are considered annually based on an employee’s individual performance rating.
Life insurance
We offer a term life insurance plan to all our employees to cover various risks.
Group medical insurance
We offer a medical insurance plan, which covers hospitalization expenses for employees, spouses and their children.
We also offer a separate medical insurance plan, which covers hospitalization expenses for employees' parents / parents-in-law (any two).
Provident fund
Sun Life contributes a sum equivalent to 12% of your monthly basic pay, equivalent to your contribution of the same amount, towards our employee provident fund scheme.
Vacation and leaves
- 15 days of vacation in a calendar year
- 7 days of casual leave
- 7 days of sick leave
- Maternity leave (as defined by the law)
- Up to 5 working days of paternity leave
- Up to 5 working days of leave for an employee’s marriage
- Up to 4 calendar days of bereavement leave following the death of a family member
Gratuity
Employees who stay with us for a duration of 5 continuous years are entitled to a gratuity as per the Gratuity Act of India.
Dependant’s pension
Your nominated dependants are entitled to receive a pension from your provident fund retirement plan in the unfortunate event of your death.
