Sun Life is the top-ranking life insurer in the Philippines
According to Insurance Commission data and based on net premium income, Sun Life Philippines is the top-ranking life insurer in the country as of December 31, 2012. This is the second consecutive year we have achieved this ranking. Our growth in 2012 is attributed to the introduction of new products, effective branding campaigns and expansion programs. Intensive agency recruitment also continued to grow our force of dedicated financial advisors.

Sun Life Financial named one of Canada's best 50 corporate citizens
Corporate Knights magazine has included Sun Life in their list of the 2013 Best 50 Corporate Citizens in Canada. For the eighth time in 12 years, we've been recognized as one of the country's top companies across resource, employee and financial management. The recognition is a testament to our ongoing focus and commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility.

Sun Life Financial recognized as one of Canada's top brands
Sun Life Financial ranked 20th in the list of top 40 Canadian brands in Canadian Business' annual reputation survey. Over 5,000 Canadians were surveyed to find out about the emotional bond customers experience with Canada's 50 largest companies. The 40 companies named to the list were based on their ratings in products and services, innovation, leadership, citizenship, performance, governance and workplace.

Sun Life Financial wins most trusted brand award
Canadians have voted Sun Life Financial the “Most Trusted Life Insurance Company” for the fourth year in a row according to the Reader's Digest 2013 Trusted Brands Survey. We ranked above more than 20 other insurers. Respondents were asked to consider whether the trusted brand possessed several different attributes including superior quality, excellent value, an understanding of its customers' needs and whether they would recommend the brand to others.

Sun Life’s SUN SHORTS film anthology received an Award of Excellence and the Bronze Anvil Award in the Public Relations Tool category from the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP). The annual Anvil Awards competition recognizes excellence and quality in PR tools and programs.

Sun Life Financial named one of the 2013 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World
Sun Life Financial is one of the 2013 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World, as selected by Corporate Knights. This is the seventh year that Sun Life has been recognized and it is the only North American insurance company on the list.
Derived from an initial list of approximately 4,000 global stocks from all sectors of the economy, the Global 100 identifies the top-performing corporations from 22 countries on 6 continents, based on a range of sector-specific sustainability metrics.
